The Library Kitchen & Lounge in downtown Little Rock’s River Market District announced that it has closed.
The Library, a project by restaurateur Rob Byford, opened in January 2020 in the former Gusano’s Pizza space at at 313 President Clinton Avenue. It offered Delta-inspired dishes including fried green tomatoes and chicken and waffles, along with live entertainment.
“The time has come for The Library to permanently turn off the lights and exit the stage,” Byford wrote on The Library’s Facebook page. “I would like to thank all of the entertainers that have graced us with their talents over the last three years. Thank you to our staff, vendors, and resident musicians. I wish you all the best.”
