Applications are now open for the Veteran-Owned Small Business Accelerator, which The Venture Center launched in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the SBA Arkansas District Office.
The program is a statewide initiative to acclerate the growth of Arkansas businesses founded by U.S. military veterans.
“At The Venture Center, we recognize the immense contributions that veterans bring to the business world,” Daniel Schutte, The Venture Center’s vice president of strategic partnerships, said in a statement. “Through this accelerator program, we aim to honor their service by equipping them with the skills and support necessary to build successful businesses.”
Those who are selected for the program will take part in curriculum that covers business strategy, marketing, finance and growth planning, The Venture Center said. The program will end with a showcase event where participants can present business ideas to potential investors, mentors, and partners.
