THV11 Hires Two New Reporters From Louisiana

1 min read

Two reporters from Louisiana are joining KTHV-TV, Channel 11, Little Rock’s CBS station, according to News Director Dave Parker.

Erika Ferrando has been hired from KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, and David Lippman hired on from WVLA-TV in Baton Rouge. “Adding David and soon Erika just keeps us on the path to hiring quality reporters across the board,” Parker told the website TVSpy.

Ferrando, a native of Mandeville, Louisiana, got her communications degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she was named the 2014 Student Broadcaster of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters. She interned at WDSU-TV in New Orleans before taking her first professional job at KPLC, Lake Charles’ NBC affiliate.

Lippman, a 2007 graduate of Tulane University, started at KTHV in May after working at the Baton Rouge NBC affiliate for almost four years, most recently as anchor of the two-hour morning newscast. He has also had professional stints at KREX-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado, and KESQ-TV in Palm Desert, California.
