With college basketball season tipping off all over the country, some of us wondered if the University of Arkansas, under second-year coach Mike Anderson, had experienced an uptick in season ticket sales.
Turns out Razorback fans appear to be taking a wait-and-see approach to this year’s team.
According to althetic department spokesman Kevin Trainor, about 9,800 season tickets had been sold as of Nov. 7, two days before the regular-season opener. The UA sold about 9,900 last year, he added.
A season ticket package for all 20 games costs $450. Also available are “Cardinal” and “White” mini-plans. For $125, fans can buy five-game ticket packages. The “Cardinal” package is highlighted by games against Syracuse and Missouri, while the “White” package features games against Florida and defending national champ Kentucky.
