Tommy Norman, David Pryor Honored by IABC (Movers & Shakers)

North Little Rock Officer Tommy Norman accepts the IABC Arkansas award for Communicator of the Year from Neal Moore.

Tommy Norman and former Arkansas Sen. David Pryor were recognized by the Arkansas chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.

Norman is a police officer with the North Little Rock Police Department and was named Communicator of the Year by the association.

Pryor received the John K. Woodruff Award for Lifetime Achievement, which his son, former Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor, accepted on his behalf.

Julie Watson has been hired as a sales and catering coordinator at Hilton Garden Inn of West Little Rock. She was previously a marketing executive at Apartment Hunters & Arkansas Suites.

Tom Courtway has been elected to the board of directors of Conway Corp.

Courtway recently retired as president of the University of Central Arkansas at Conway and previously served on the Conway Corp. board of directors from 2001-2008.
