Topgolf Picks West Little Rock Site for New Venue

2 min read

Topgolf Entertainment Group of Dallas on Tuesday announced that its new venue in Little Rock will be located in a commercial park development on the city’s west side.

The Village at Brodie Creek is located just northwest of Colonel Glenn Road and Interstate 430. Topgolf will occupy 13.9 acres of the 60-acre development.

About 300 jobs are expected to be created, Topgolf said in a news release. No construction timeline for the multilevel golf driving range has been set.

The project was announced in May

Arkansas Business reported in December 2020 that the Village at BC LLC, led by Colliers International Arkansas CEO Kevin Huchingson, had purchased the land for the commercial development for $3.5 million. The seller was CGBRDI Holdings LLC, led by Leonard Boen.

Huchingson, along with Colliers colleague Lee Strother, facilitated Topgolf’s deal for the 13.9-acre lot on the property, according to the release. A transaction price was not announced, and it didn’t appear Tuesday that the deal had been entered into the public record. Huchingson and Topgolf didn’t immmediately return calls seeking more information.

Colliers in 2021 listed a roughly 13-acre lot on the property for $7.75 per SF, or more than $4.4 million. That lot was identified as one of three totaling 25.3 acres in the development’s first phase.

Topgolf’s venue in Little Rock will be its second in the state. It opened a location in Rogers near the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in May 2020.

A Topgolf competitor, T-Time, plans to set up in North Little Rock at the former site of Wild River Country. That project was announced in April.
