Two TRG Properties Add Up to $6.8M Sale (Real Deals)Lock Icon

Tandem sales of North Little Rock recycling properties combined for a $6.81 million deal.

Alter Trading Corp. of St. Louis purchased the Tenenbaum Recycling Group’s 71,000-SF complex at 4500 Bethany Road for $4.04 million and its 42,968-SF facility at 2601 Central Airport Road for $2.77 million.

The 10.72-acre Central Airport site was bought for $250,000 in March 2011 from Mary Barbee.

The 40.76-acre Bethany Road property was assembled in four deals totaling more than $418,000.

The sellers were the Urban Renewal Agency of the city of North Little Rock, $79,875 in February 1973; Robert and Theresa Hughes, $4,000 in July 1978; Frederick Watkins Jr., $110,000 in January 1986; and R.L.R. Investments LLC, led by Ralph L. Roberts, $225,000 in January 2009.

Maumelle Commercial
A commercial project in Maumelle weighed in at $2.2 million.

New Mercury LLC, led by Mike Coulson, acquired the McDonald’s at 20605 state Hwy. 365 and the neighboring Shell Superstop at 20515 state Hwy. 365.

The sellers are Brown-O’Rourke LLC, led by Mary Brown; and Hopkins-Osborne LLC, led by Sarah Hopkins and Josephine Osborne.

The deal is financed with a five-year loan of nearly $1.9 million from Sim-mons Bank of Pine Bluff.

The 9.86-acre site was purchased as part of three deals with Charles and Ruby Sewell, $6,500 in February 1959; Robert and Juanita Stringfellow, $11,500 in August 1959; and Maurine Milam, $13,500 in July 1961.

Nature Acreage
A 40-acre tract in west Pulaski County tipped the scales at $1.22 million.

The Nature Conservancy bought the land in the Nowlin Creek watershed along with two houses of 5,865 SF and 1,753 SF at 11113 Barrett Road from Jason and Sarah Everett. The property previously was tied to a November 2015 mortgage of $871,250 held by Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. of Plano, Texas.

The Everetts acquired the property for $1 million in November 2015 from Allen and Nancy Redding.

Midtown Office
A 13,056-SF office building in midtown Little Rock rang up a $1.05 million sale.

901 University LLC, led by Brock Martin III, purchased the 901 N. University Ave. project from the American Cancer Society Inc.

The deal is funded with a seven-year loan of $884,800 from First Security Bank of Searcy.

The 1-acre location was bought for $165,000 in March 1988 from the Little Rock School District.

Riverdale Office
A 4,000-SF office building in Little Rock’s Riverdale area changed hands in a $475,000 deal.

Centennial Bank of Conway acquired the former Dixie Cafe office at 1215 Rebsamen Park Road from RG Joint Ventures LLC, led by Allan Roberts.

The 0.34-acre property was purchased for $200,000 in September 1990 from Richard and Dorothy Toll.

NLR Office
A 4,876-SF office building in North Little Rock sold for $342,500.

L&S Investment Group LLC, led by Derek and Natalie Long, bought the 312 W. Pershing Blvd. project. The seller is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas Inc., led by Chrissy Chatham.

The deal is financed with a 10-year loan of $498,995 from Citizens Bank of Batesville.

BBBS acquired the 0.43-acre development for $275,000 in July 2006 from Multi-Management Services Inc., the for-profit arm of Baptist Health.

Prospect Abode
A 6,046-SF home in Little Rock’s Prospect Terrace neighborhood weighed in at $1.3 million.

David Bumpass and Mary Rude purchased the house from Jeffrey and Cara Nolan. The deal is funded with a 15-year loan of $1 million from IberiaBank of Lafayette, Louisiana.

The residence previously was linked with a November 2011 mortgage of $395,000 held by Metropolitan National Bank of Little Rock.

The Nolans bought the property for $990,000 in October 2006 from Wayne Moore Construction Co.

Rural Acreage
A 47.24-acre residential tract in west Pulaski County drew an $800,000 transaction.

Kuhn Construction Co., led by Todd Kuhn, acquired the land on Hood Road.

The seller was the Washburn Family Revocable Living Trust, led by Gene and Dana Washburn. The deal is backed with a three-year loan of $1.6 million from Bank of Little Rock Mortgage Corp.

The Washburns purchased the land for more than $30,000 in August 1968 from Bill Lusk and Jo O’Bryant.

Deauville Residence
A 3,572-SF home in the Deauville Place neighborhood of west Little Rock’s Chenal Valley development rang up a $742,000 sale.

Navdeep and Namrata Dogra bought the house from Matthew and Elizabeth Roach. The deal is financed with a 15-year loan of $593,600 from Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.

The residence previously was tied to a December 2011 mortgage of $325,000 held by First Security.

The Roaches acquired the location for $120,000 in February 2011 from Waterview Estates LLC, led by Rick Ferguson.

Ensbury Place
A 3,900-SF home in the Ensbury Place neighborhood of west Little Rock’s Chenal Valley development changed hands in a $606,400 deal.

Markus and Hannah Renno purchased the house from Willmark Homes Inc., led by Mark Caruthers. The deal is funded with a 30-year loan of $614,725 from Simmons Bank.

The residence previously was linked with a February 2018 mortgage of $494,700 held by First Security.

The site was bought for $91,000 in December 2017 from Deltic Timber Corp. of El Dorado.
