Tyson Foods Picks Danyel Bischof, Doug Kulka to Lead Tech Team

1 min read

Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale named Danyel Bischof as the company’s chief technology officer.

The company also promoted Doug Kulka to chief information officer. Bischof and Kulka will both report directly to Tyson Foods (NYSE: TSN) CEO Donnie King.

Tyson Foods said in a statement through a spokesman that Bischof would be in charge of innovation and business growth while Kulka would manage operations and infrastructure.

“Bischof and Kulka will partner to deliver technology initiatives for the business,” the company said. “This dual leadership model allows a simultaneous focus on business relationships and operational efficiencies to drive excellence throughout Tyson Foods.”

Bischof had been the company’s vice president of IT for poultry, prepared foods and customer enablement. She joined Tyson Foods in July 2018 after 28 years at Hallmark Cards.

Kulka joined Tyson Foods in November 2017 and has served as vice president in the company’s technology sections.

Bischof and Kulka replace Scott Spradley, who left Tyson Foods after five years in January. The company gave no reason for Spradley’s departure.
