UALR Names Sheena Howell Director of Development in Business College

Sheena Howell, who has worked as director of development for Trojan Athletics at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the past year, has been named director of development and external relations for UALR’s College of Business.

As director of athletic development, Howell raised more than $325,000 for SpectaUALR, the department’s major annual fundraiser. She also launched a campaign to support women’s basketball, which raised more than $115,000 in less than two months. 

“I am pleased to have Sheena join us,” said Jane Wayland, dean of the business college. “As a graduate of our program, she will bring a unique perspective to our community, friends, and donors.”

Howell graduated cum laude in 2011 with a degree in business administration and an emphasis in marketing. She spent two years in the UALR Department of Athletics as the Trojans’ director of sales.

She also worked two years with the QBOT company, managing client relations with more than 40 college campuses while consulting with local and national businesses to build advertising platforms.
