UCA Hires New Admissions Director

Courtney Mullen will serve as the new director of the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Services at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Mullen comes to UCA from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, where she spent almost seven years in recruitment and admissions.

“As the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Services, it is our responsibility to serve as the front door of the institution and provide a quality experience for prospective students through collaborative planning with faculty and other departments,” Mullen said in a news release. “I am very happy to join the UCA community so I may promote the success of both the University and our students.”

Mullen is currently enrolled in the doctorate in leadership program at UCA and earned her B.A. in speech communication and journalism and a Master of Science in college student personnel from Arkansas Tech.

“We are pleased to have Courtney on board as the director of Admissions and Enrollment Services,” President Tom Courtway said. “With her enthusiasm for students and their success, coupled with her energy and knowledge of high schools in Arkansas, she is the right person to lead our recruitment efforts.”
