University of Central Arkansas President Tom Courtway was presented with a $3 million check Thursday from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) to support and expand the supply chain logistics management program.
The university will use the funds to endow a chaired faculty position this fall.
Scott Bennett, director of AHTD, made the check presentation to President Courtway in the UCA College of Business before a crowd of about 100 faculty, staff, students and community members.
