The stories of generosity by the Jennings Osborne family are legion, and many have gone unpublicized.
One we came across involves James Blevins, who worked as a security guard at the Osborne’s Little Rock home in 1990-92.
When Blevins’ son was born 21 years ago, the Osbornes paid for Blevins’ wife to have a private room, covered all the outstanding medical bills and lavished the newborn with thousands of dollars in clothes, baby gear and a savings bond.
"It overwhelmed me," Blevins said. "They were more than generous."
