Construction spending in the United States during September rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.99 billion, a 0.4% increase compared with August and an 8.7% rise compared with September 2022.
Private construction spending reached a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.55 billion in September, while the estimated seasonally adjusted annual rate of public construction spending was $440.6 billion, and educational construction was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $94.4 billion.
