USA Truck Inc. of Van Buren named Troy Robertson general counsel.
Robertson was chief counsel at Con-Way Truckload and was responsible for its legal operations and government relations in Missouri. He joined Con-Way in 2000 as a trainee and became chief counsel in 2007.
“Troy is a strong leaders with extensive experience in the trucking industry,” USA Truck CEO Tom Glaser said in a statement. “His demonstrated expertise in overseeing both corporate legal teams and business units will bring meaningful benefits to USA Truck as we intensify our focus on enhancing our operations, growing our business and improving our profitability.”
Robertson has also worked at Andersen Consulting and Yellow Freight System. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri in 1999.
