USA Truck Shareholders Re-Elect 3 to Company Board

1 min read

USA Truck of Van Buren didn’t waste any time for its shareholders meeting.

Shareholders voted to re-elect three members of the company’s board of directors and approved, in an advisory vote, of the company’s executive compensation plan. With that, the meeting was done, about five minutes after it opened.

USA Truck said 68 percent of the company’s shareholders voted. Vote totals were announced at the meeting, but officials said directors Gary Enzor, Thomas Glaser and Vadim Perelman were re-elected.

Glaser is the company’s interim COO while CEO John Simone is on medical leave for an undisclosed medical condition for which he is receiving treatment. Perelman is the managing partner and chief investment officer of Baker Street Capital in Los Angeles, which owns 1.4 million (13.3 percent) shares of USA Truck.
