Venture Center Kicks Off Spark! Pre-Accelerator, Names Participants

The Venture Center and the Little Rock Regional Chamber on Wednesday held a kickoff for the previously announced inaugural Spark! pre-accelerator program and named the six companies selected to participate in it.

They are:

  • Cyclone Technology, founded by Andrew Ross and Phil Baxter, manages, repairs and reports hardware and software issues.

  • Idestini, founded by Abby Sims, develops custom business products, services and software to help companies simplify manual processes.

  • Readthelabl, founded by Kent Wood, produces shelf-stable pasta-type sauces that include healthy ingredients.

  • Listing Village, founded by Matthew Young, provides web platforms for real estate agents that include search maps and Facebook ads.

  • Apex Dental Education, founded by Rachael Linebarier, is a career education and training program for dental assistants.

  • SYI Construction Co. is a woman-owned construction company that was founded by Katrina Smith.

The 14-week program offers free office space in The Venture Center on the sixth floor of the Little Rock Technology Park. It also provides mentorship and training to the companies.
