Venture Center Reschedules VenCent to August, Announces More Speakers

The Venture Center in Little Rock has rescheduled its inaugural fintech conference VenCent to Aug. 15-17, citing impacts of the COVID-19 Omicron variant.

The event was originally planned for April; It will still be held in Little Rock. 

Organizers announced several of the speakers last month, including headliner Ron Shevlin, chief research officer for Cornerstone Advisors and a senior Forbes contributor.

Other speakers not previously announced include:

  • Laura Merling (keynote), Arvest Bank’s transformation executive and a former Google Cloud chief;

  • Tina Giorgio (keynote), president and CEO of ICBA Bancard; 

  • Damon Moorer (keynote), president and CEO of TCM Bank;

  • Jason Waters, chief investment officer at Simmons Wealth Management;

  • Jill Castilla, president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond; and

  • Darrin Williams, CEO of Southern Bancorp Inc.
