The Venture Center in Little Rock announced a formal partnership with the U.S. Small Business administration to help entrepreneurs launch, maintain and grow their businesses.

Under the agreement, the SBA Arkansas District Office and The Venture Center will help connect current and aspiring small business owners to resources and programs to improve opportunities and expand small business development in the state.

“This groundbreaking partnership with the SBA demonstrates our ongoing commitment to lifting up the small business community here in Arkansas,” Arthur Orduña, executive director of The Venture Center, said in a news release. “No matter where an entrepreneur is on their journey, we have the proven success and necessary resources to supercharge their progress and help make their vision a successful reality.”

The Venture Center is a nonprofit that provides educational programming, financial support and other resources to entrepreneurs.

More than 99% of businesses in Arkansas are considered small, according to SBA Arkansas.
