1 min read

The Venture Center of Little Rock is hosting its biannual “Pitch ‘N Pint” event on June 28 when entrepreneurs can pitch startup ideas, products or operational businesses.

The competition, modeled after the hit TV show, “Shark Tank,” provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to network and share their ideas. Winners will receive $3,000.

“Pitches will be judged based on information provided about the problem, value proposition, target market and memorability,” The Venture Center said in a news release. “Winners in the past showed creativity, props, and product demonstrations.”

“Events like Pitch ‘N Pint encourage and strengthen entrepreneurial success in central Arkansas, which plays a critical role in Little Rock’s economic future,” Jay Chesshir, president and CEO of the Little Rock Regional Chamber, said in a statement. “We’re proud to partner with The Venture Center so that early-stage entrepreneurs receive community support and exposure to gamechanging resources like funding and networking.”

The deadline to apply to participate is June 16. The event is open to the public. For more information, visit https://www.venturecenter.co/event/pitch-n-pint-2/.
