The three adjoining Little Rock houses owned by the Jennings Osborne family fetched a combined $610,000 Wednesday on the auction block.
The prices paid for the individual properties were:
- $265,000 for the famed white-walled Osborne home at 4 Robinwood
- $192,500 for the adjoining house to the west at 5 Robinwood
- $152,500 for the neighboring house to the east at 3 Robinwood.
The triple-bill sale only attracted a handful of bidders.
The 11,700-SF home at 4 Robinwood helped secure three mortgages held by Allied Bank of Mulberry (Crawford County): a January 2010 loan of $600,000, a June 2010 loan of $125,000 and a July 2010 loan of $900,000. The 1.8-acre spread was valued at $1.6 million on the Pulaski County tax rolls.
Sources indicate that the Allied debt is additionally secured by personal assets such as cars and jewelry.
The 5,174-SF house at 5 Robinwood helped secure a January 2009 mortgage of $263,000 held by Cenlar Federal Savings Bank and a $166,659 mortgage held by Metropolitan National Bank of Little Rock. The 2-acre residential was valued at $724,360 on the Pulaski County tax rolls.
The 5,341-SF house at 3 Robinwood helped secure a February 2009 mortgage of $320,625 held by Cenlar Federal Savings Bank of Ewing, N.J. The 1.8-acre property was valued at $747,740 on the Pulaski County tax rolls.
The auction of assets continues Thursday with the Breezy Meadows Farm, a 9.5-acre equestrian spread at 19400 Kanis Road in west Little Rock. On Friday and Saturday, the family will auction the late businessman’s personal items, including autographs, sports items, furniture and other collectibles.
