The redevelopment of the former U.S. Postal facility in downtown Jonesboro has landed an anchor tenant.
The Waddell Cole & Jones law firm will lease more than 13,000 SF, with a move in planned for August 2013.
“We are really pleased to have the opportunity to continue our presence in downtown Jonesboro,” said Ralph Waddell, principal at Waddell Cole & Jones. “We believe that this project along with the acquisition and extensive renovation of the Mercantile Center Building by the City of Jonesboro will accelerate the continued revitalization of downtown.”
City Water & Light of Jonesboro owns the 30,000-SF building at 31 East St.
Haag Brown Commercial Real Estate & Development of Jonesboro coordinated the lease.
“This project is the largest Class-A office lease project in the recent history of Jonesboro,” said Joshua Brown, principal at Haag Brown.
