The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G will return to Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers next year, from Sept. 23-29, organizers said.
The tournament for professional female golfers wrapped up its 17th tournament last month, with Hae Ran Ryu winning the championship title. In her first win on the LPGA tour, Ryu shot a final-round 66. Other top-10 finishers included Lexi Thompson and Hannah Green.
“The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G continues to be a staple in the region and maintains its commitment to being an affordable and accessible event to all,” said Jennifer R. Jackson, Walmart senior vice president, merchandising.
“At the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G, we as a community not only get the opportunity to elevate women’s golf, but also celebrate and give back to the Northwest Arkansas community,” said Jeff Metzner, vice president, Walmart team marketing and communications at Procter & Gamble. “We are excited to build upon this momentum next fall as we continue to host a world-class event right here in our backyard.”
