The Walton Family Foundation has donated $92,000 to help entrepreneurs who are looking to scale their food and beverage businesses in northwest Arkansas.
The grant for Cureate Courses, a business growth and economic development firm, is provided through community loan fund FORGE Inc.
Along with a free 10-week course providing technical assistance and educational programming, businesses will receive two leadership coaching sessions, free registration on Cureate Connect’s procurement platform to connect with sales opportunities, and the opportunity to network through community events.
At the end of the program, participating businesses will take part in a pitch showcase with a chance to win a $5,000 cash prize. Additionally, businesses will have the opportunity to participate in a vendor fair where local buyers are invited to taste, sip and sample goods produced by the graduates.
On average, graduating entrepreneurs have seen a 20% increase in projected annual revenue, FORGE said in a news release.
