Washington Regional Adds Pereira, Mantooth (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. Stephanie Pereira and Dr. Ryan Mantooth have joined Washington Regional in Fayetteville as emergency medicine physicians.

Pereira earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and finished her residency there. She previously was an emergency medicine physician at UAB Medical West in Hoover, Alabama.

Mantooth earned his medical degree from UAMS and completed his residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital, where he received a Resident of the Year Award. He is currently completing the fellowship program of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.

Dr. Geoffrey Dunaway and Michelle Henderson have joined Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. Their clinic, Willow Street Health Center in Harrison, is a family practice clinic and will now operate as Willow Street Hometown Clinic.

Dunaway earned his medical degree from UAMS and completed his residency in family medicine at the Area Health Education Center of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Henderson, an advanced practice registered nurse, graduated with her master’s degree in nursing from Missouri State University and is a licensed family nurse practitioner.

Arny Ferrando was invested in the Wes Smith Distinguished Chair in Geriatrics for Longevity, Health Promotion & Frailty Prevention at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Ferrando co-directs the Center for Translational Research in Aging & Longevity at the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging and is also a professor in the Department of Geriatrics.
