Webcast to Feature Global Thought Leader Renee Mauborgne

Renee Mauborgne, an economist and professor at international business graduate school INSEAD, will lead the third webcast in a series presented by Arkansas Business throughout 2021. 

The “21st Century Business Forum,” sponsored by CHI St. Vincent, is a monthly webcast featuring authors, entrepreneurs and key leaders in business and sports. It’s hosted by author Jon Gordon, who has written extensively on leadership, sales and teamwork.

The 40-minute episode, featuring an interview with Mauborgne, will broadcast at 11 a.m. March 10.

Mauborgne is co-director of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute as well, and she co-wrote bestsellers “Blue Ocean Strategy” and “Blue Ocean Shift.”

She was the first woman to reach No. 1 on the Thinkers50 list of global thought leaders and was named among the world’s top five best business school professors by MBA Ranking. Mauborgne also served on President Barack Obama’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. 

She is a Fellow of the World Economic Forum and co-founder of the Blue Ocean Global Network, a global community for academics, consultants, executives and government officers.

Gordon’s books include 2007’s “The Energy Bus: 10 Rules to Fuel Your Life, Work and Team with Positive Energy” and 2018’s “The Power of a Positive Team: Proven Principles and Practices that Make Great Teams Great.”

The show aims to inform and inspire Arkansas business leaders — executives, managers and entrepreneurs — with engaging interviews that yield practical advice for leading organizations and achieving success. Its previous guests were Steve Forbes and John Maxwell.
