1 min read

Arkansas Business has signed on to provide an online event to help employers and employees talk race in the workplace.

If you’re uncomfortable talking about race with co-workers, clients or customers, this training webinar, led by Potential Project, could help. It’s free, and offered in partnership with the Conway Chamber of Commerce, University of Central Arkansas and Andy’s Frozen Custard.

Charles Smith, the vice president of operations at Tokusen in Conway, said companies could benefit from new ways of communicating in the workplace.

“Tokusen loves being a part of the Conway community,” he said. “However, Conway isn’t immune to social issues, COVID-19 and the unemployment crisis that is affecting our nation. We realize that there needs to be a paradigm shift in the way we lead and communicate during this critical time.”

You can register for the webinar, set for 9 a.m. Thursday, right here.
