Wheeler Hired at CourtAvenue (NWA Movers & Shakers)

Jeannine Wheeler has joined the new CourtAvenue office in Bentonville as chief financial officer.

Wheeler has held senior finance roles at VMLY&R and Advantage Solutions. She began her career in finance in 2006 at KPMG.

Mike Crist and Bert Kell have been appointed to the board of the Mercy Health Foundation of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.

Crist is vice president of highway services pricing for J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc.

Kell is senior vice president and trust officer with Arvest Bank.

Erin James has been hired as an associate at Friday Eldredge & Clark in Rogers.

James will join the mergers and acquisitions practice group.

She will also represent clients in all areas of taxation law.

James recently received her Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Richard Levin of Hall Estill in Fayetteville has been recognized as a Band 3 Attorney in Real Estate Law in 2021 by Chambers USA.

Levin practices corporate law, including real estate and business transactions.

He has served in both northwest Arkansas locations as in-house counsel.

Kim Lane, Daymara Baker, Christopher Jacob and Irma Chavez have joined Right to Start in northwest Arkansas to advance an entrepreneurship initiative.

Lane, previously named one of the world’s top Startup Champions by the Global Entrepreneurship Network, serves as chief operating officer.

Baker has 20 years of experience in marketing for a Fortune 1000 company and serves as lead advocate. Jacob and Chavez both serve as advocates.

Jacob was a community liaison for the people of the Marshall Islands.

Chavez is the founder of Conexión de Negocios Latinos, a networking group that supports, promotes, educates and connects Latino businesses in northwest Arkansas.
