White River Health System Names New Directors (Movers & Shakers)

Robyn Sweet has been named director of the White River Health System’s Rural Health Clinics in Cave City, Drasco, Melbourne, Pleasant Plains and Strawberry. Sweet, who has worked for the Batesville hospital system for 20 years, is a registered nurse practitioner certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center and licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

Hope Caraway has been promoted to director of human resources at White River Health System. Caraway, who has a bachelor’s degree in leadership and management from Harding University at Searcy, has worked in HR at the hospital system for eight years.

Danielle Weaver, an advanced practice registered nurse, has joined the Gastroenterology Center at Sparks Health System in Fort Smith. She will assist Dr. Hrair Simonian and Chasidy McAllister, also an APRN. Weaver previously worked as an APRN at a family medicine clinic in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Dr. Laurence Howe, an assistant professor in the Center for Dental Education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, was recently inducted as a fellow of the International College of Dentists, the world’s oldest and largest honor society for dentists. Howe joined the UAMS faculty in 2013 after 28 years in private practice.
