Williams, Yarnell Named to Top Slots for Union Bankshares (Movers & Shakers)

Kevin Williams, president of Union Bank of Mena, and Jarrod Yarnell, CEO of Union Bankshares.

Kevin Williams has been appointed president of Union Bank of Mena, and Jarrod Yarnell has been named chief executive officer of Union Bankshares, the holding company for Union Bank and First National Bank of Paris.

Williams and Yarnell will succeed Philip Hensley, who will continue his involvement with the organization as senior adviser to Union Bank in Mena.

Schwanda Flowers has joined First Financial Bank as a member of the veterinary lending team in El Dorado.

State Treasurer Dennis Milligan was elected as vice president of the State Financial Officers Foundation of Shawnee, Kansas, a national nonprofit organization that promotes fiscal responsibility. Grant Wallace, the chief deputy treasurer, was elected as the staff representative.

Amy Pierce has been appointed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson to the board of visitors of the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock.

Pierce is the founder and president of Bank Strategic Solutions of Little Rock.

Laura Fine of Little Rock, director of the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center, has been elected to the America’s SBDC board of directors. She will serve a two-year term on the 10-member board.
