Windstream Holdings Inc. of Little Rock on Tuesday announced the appointments of two senior vice presidents.

Kevin Halpin was named senior vice president of process development and improvement, and Kristi Moody was named senior vice president of law and corporate secretary for the board of directors.

Halpin was previously vice president of information technology at Allied Wireless Communications Corp., where he oversaw the expansion of the company’s infrastructure in its acquisition of Alltell Wireless customers and their later move to AT&T, Windstream said in a news release.

“Kevin has a proven record of improving the customer experience through both process reengineering and information technology initiatives by enhancing collaboration throughout organizations,” Tony Thomas, the company’s president and chief executive officer, said in the release.

Moody, who has been with Windstream since 2006, was previously deputy general counsel. In her new position, she will continue to oversee dispute resolutions and contingencies, as well as provide counsel in corporate governance, investor relations and several other areas.

“Kristi has excelled throughout her career at Windstream and consistently provided exceptional judgment and effective counsel,” said John Fletcher, executive vice president and general counsel in the release. “The board and I are pleased to have her in this expanded governance and compliance role.”
