Windstream Corp. of Little Rock on Monday said Christie Grumbos has been appointed the company’s treasurer.
Grumbos will oversee “treasury and capital market functions, debt management, debt compliance, investor relations, and pension asset management,” Windstream said in a news release.
The appointment was effective on Monday.
“Christie is a results-oriented financial executive with demonstrated success in treasury and capital markets, investor relations and corporate communications, strategy, and financial analysis,” CFO Bob Gunderman said in the news release. “She has a proven track record of generating results across multiple disciplines and I look forward to her leading our treasury and investor relation teams.”
Christie most recently worked for Sam’s Club Mexico as Division Finance Leader. She also previously held several management roles at Wal-Mart.
