Winrock President and CEO Rodney Ferguson has been named to the Export-Import Bank of the United States 2019 Advisory Committee.
Also on the committee are senior leaders from Hewlett Packard and the AFL-CIO, among others. Former U.S. Rep and current New Mexico Rep. Stevan Pearce will serve as chair.
The EXIM Advisory Committee, as required by Congress, advises EXIM on its programs and on the extent to which the agency provides competitive financing to support American jobs through exports.
“I am honored to have this opportunity to lift local economies and the world,” Ferguson said in a news release. “The EXIM bank plays a critical role in America’s export economy and aligns with Winrock’s decades-long work to build a more resilient future through economic empowerment and sustaining natural resources. I look forward to working with my colleagues to this end.”
