
Dr. Nirvana Manning has been named Woman of the Year in Public Service by the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, based in Little Rock. She is a professor and chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. Lenore Trammell, chief administrative officer, chief compliance officer and general counsel at Big River Steel, has been named Woman of the Year in Business. Cathy Tuggle, owner and principal broker at Apartment Hunters & Arkansas Suites, has been named Woman of the Year in Philanthropy. And Shamin Okolloh, vice president, community outreach officer at Encore Bank, and Marnie Oldner, director at Stone Bank, have been named co-chairs of the Power of the Purse luncheon.
Adra Winter has been promoted to chief financial officer at Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma & Texas. She will be located in the corporate office in Little Rock. She previously served as vice president of finance of the organization.

Linda Nguyen Lopez has been named a 2024 USA Fellow in Craft by United States Artists, a nonprofit that supports artists across the country. She is program director of foundations and associate professor in the School of Art at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Dr. Puru Thapa has been hired as a pharmacoepidemiologist at Baptist Health Behavioral Health Clinic-North Little Rock. He is a professor emeritus in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
