WWBeds Passes to New Generation

1 min read

A North Little Rock family-owned business, WWBeds Custom Furniture, has officially been passed from one generation to the next.

The new president, Chris Davis, is the son of founder Gary Davis. The elder Davis opened the company, formerly known as Waterful Wonderbeds, in 1979.

The younger Davis began working with his father in 1990 after school. After completing his bachelor’s in business administration in 1996, he took several other courses pertaining to the business, including interior design and aircraft modification.

"That gave me an alternate look at building techniques," he said.

During his time at the company, Davis has overseen all aspects of the business, including accounting, Web design and sales, as well as production.

WWBeds specializes in customized handmade furniture and products, based on a customer’s sketch or picture. The firm also employs a live video feed of the shop, enabling workers to chat with customers about products in real-time.

"From designing of the product to making sure it is delivered, I am involved in developing new and improved ways to produce a product more efficiently," Davis said.
