Yo’Rocks Debuts Possible Franchise

1 min read

Yo’Rocks Frozen Yogurt, the self-serve frozen yogurt joint that opened quietly in April at 2604 S. Shackleford Road in Little Rock, is a pilot eatery.

That’s according to part-owner Khyati Patel of Dallas, who is also an investor in two Subway franchises, including one in west Little Rock.

The Little Rock Yo’Rocks (Think “Yogurt Rocks,” Patel said) is a concept original to Patel and her investor group, although it does seem like the self-serve frozen yogurt idea is ubiquitous these days.

“If we’re successful, we’re definitely going to open more,” Patel said, adding that she wants to see the yogurt shop franchised.

Patel hopes to see a second Yo’Rocks open near the University of Arkansas at Little Rock within the next year. Other Yo’Rocks locations might end up in Texas.

Yo’Rocks stocks 12 rotating frozen yogurt flavors at a time and more than 40 toppings. The shop should also be selling smoothies by August, Patel said.

Patel plants to have a grand opening at the west Little Rock shop in mid-June.
