Make48 is bringing its 48-hour invention competition to North Little Rock, and the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub at Winrock International will host it.
Teams are given a challenge category, must build a physical prototype, sales sheet and one minute promo video, then pitch to a panel of judges. They will have access to a makerspace and trained tool experts to physically build their prototypes using a number of fabrication tools (including cnc, metal work, 3d printing, textiles, etc.).
Teams of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to compete. The winning team from each city will then compete in the National TV Series contest in Spring 2023. The contest will be filmed for a PBS documentary.
