Rebekah Fincher decided to enter the health care field because she likes a challenge. “Health care is one of the most intense and challenging environments that you can work in,” said Fincher, who joined Conway Regional Health System in 2010 as a physician liaison.
Since then, she’s had several roles and is now chief administrative officer, handling strategy, growth and business development. During her tenure, Conway Regional has seen about a 60% increase in net revenue. She has also helped recruit more than 45 physicians to the hospital and initiated residency programs that created 33 residency slots.
Fincher received her undergraduate degrees in political science and public relations from the University of Central Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a master’s in interpersonal and organizational communication.
Outside of the hospital, Fincher serves on the Conway Planning Commission.
She said her parents instilled in her this driving principle: “We have a responsibility to do all the good that we can while we’re on this Earth,” Fincher said.
