Kedrick Jones is so dedicated to where he’s from that the first word of his IT company’s name is an abbreviation of southeast Arkansas, and he’s been involved in the Jefferson County Young Professionals Network in Pine Bluff since 2014.
“I really enjoy it because it’s my way of giving back to the community and also helping create more young like-minded leaders,” he said. “I lead by example, and there’s no growth without a challenge. If it’s something worth having … it’s going to be challenging, but you can’t give up. You have to stay the course and keep your focus, and you’ll get there.”
Jones is president of the young professionals group and a 2020 alumnus of the New Leaders Council in Arkansas.
He was recently hired by the Metropolitan Housing Alliance and has worked in IT for Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff, Arkansas Hospice and the Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas.
Jones earned two associate degrees from SEARK, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith and a master’s degree from Western Governors University.
