Sarah Kinser stuck around after interning with the Arkansas Community Foundation, and her strategy worked. She was offered a full-time position in 2007.
“I think the thing that has kept me at the Community Foundation all these years is that no two days have been the same. And I get to take a look at and learn more about so many different charitable causes,” Kinser said. “I work with so many different people in organizations who are trying to make Arkansas a better place to live. And so it’s never boring. It’s always interesting, and I get to spend time with people who really believe in our state and want to make it the best it can be.”
Kinser holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus in Jackson, Tennessee, and a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
She also interned for the Arkansas Literary Festival and worked for the Arkansas Literacy Councils for two years. Now, she’s involved with Arkansas Impact Philanthropy and the Arkansas Asset Funders Network.
