Motivated by unemployment and servicing a student loan, Kevin Chaloner jumped at a job opening as a part-time teller with U.S. Bank in Arkadelphia.
That move after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Henderson State University in 2009 began his ongoing career with the bank.
Chaloner, who grew up in Murfreesboro, moved to central Arkansas for U.S. Bank’s management training program a year later.
After completing that program in 2012, he served for nearly four years as branch manager in Bryant. In October 2016, Chaloner was promoted to branch hub manager, where he led management teams at five offices in central Arkansas.
In January 2020, he was named district manager responsible for all U.S. Bank retail branches in the state south of the Arkansas River.
Chaloner is treasurer of the Children’s Protection Center executive board and past president and past secretary of the nonprofit.
He also is a volunteer at the Arkansas Food Bank and a past assistant scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America.
