The husband-and-wife team of Jordan and Scott Franklin is performing like clockwork for the talent management firm Stratice. Scott, a former coach, manages IT, payroll and software in the back office, while Jordan is up front taking care of sales and personnel.
The Franklins co-founded the company in 2015 in Birmingham, Alabama, before moving back to northwest Arkansas in 2020. Stratice, with 75 employees, maintains a branch in Alabama.
“He made a deal with me in the very beginning that he would run all the back office if I would do all of the sales,” Jordan Franklin said. “He has kept up his end of the bargain, and I have kept up mine.”
Stratice had revenue growth of more than 1,700% in 2021 and is a certified woman-owned business, with Jordan Franklin and her mother, Robin Hampton, holding a majority stake. Communication is key, the CEO said.
“In a family organization, you have to be very, very, very, very, very clear with yourself where your limits are and stay within your boundaries,” she said.
