With her work gracing the covers of some recent prestigious Arkansas design publications, Shayla Copas is a true cover girl.
Copas, the owner of Shayla Copas Interiors, has loved interior design her entire life and decided to start her own design firm in 1997.
"I live in my client's world while designing a project and tap into their individual tastes and needs," she says. "The goal is to create an environment that the client feels comfortable and proud of."
Copas was selected in 2007 and 2009 to design a room in the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Designer House and has most recently finished the interior design at Sissy’s Log Cabin in Little Rock. Additionally, Copas designed Baldwin & Shell Construction Co.'s corporate headquarters, a LEED project certified Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Along with her work, Copas still finds time to serve on the boards of directors of the CARTI Foundation, Riverfest and Women & Children First. She also serves on the Women’s Advisory Council for Delta Trust & Bank and chairs the Sissy’s Log Cabin Advisory Board. In 2009 she was Heart Ball chair.
