In 2004, he realized that dream with the opening of the Keech Law Firm.
"I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with some of the best lawyers in the field at my former firm and with many other excellent attorneys after going out on my own," he says. "I feel fortunate that I now have an opportunity to do what I have always wanted to do — run a small business and serve people with challenging and complex problems."
Keech, who serves on the bioethics committee at Baptist Health Medical Center, centers his practice on three values: creativity, fair dealing and perseverance.
"I once heard a presentation with the repeating theme 'prescription without diagnosis is malpractice.'" Keech says. "Although presented in a marketing context and certainly not a legal standard, I believe the advice is important to attorneys."
