Lyon College invites applications for a part-time, no more than 25 hours per week Financial Aid Assistant for the Financial Aid Office. The financial aid assistant assists with requests for and collection of data and documents for FAFSA verification, assembles and mails award letters to students, communicates financial aid packages to admission counselors and coaches, assists with loan entrance counseling, and performs other customary clerical and secretarial duties as assigned. Applicants must have good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Applicants should also have a working knowledge of spreadsheets and the ability to learn other software applications. Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Lyon College is a private, selective liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It is located in Batesville, Arkansas, a safe and historic town of 10,000 that serves as commercial, medical, social, and governmental hub for an eight-county area.
