POSITION INFORMATION/DESCRIPTION: To assist the City Attorney in supervising and directing the legal functions of the City to ensure it is properly represented in all legal matters; to manage the department in the absence of the City Attorney.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through
completion of a Juris Doctorate degree; six (6) years of active legal experience, including experience in dealing with municipal and civil law; and two (2) years of supervisory experience, which includes supervision of professional level personnel or management of a private or public law office. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess an Arkansas law license and be in good standing with the Arkansas Bar.
