Part-Time Library Assistant

Lyon College invites applications for a part-time (20 hours per week) library assistant for the Mabee-Simpson Library. The successful candidate will be on duty in the evenings, primarily from 8 PM until midnight, Sundays through Thursdays during the academic year, with some work during the weekend. Summer schedules may include both evening and daytime shifts. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with regular circulation duties, assisting patrons with identifying and locating library resources, and providing supervision and support to student workers. Applicants must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and workplace experience. High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
