Philanthropy Executive Director


The mission of Arkansas Children's continues to grow and expand. We are currently recruiting for a professional Philanthropy Executive Director for Arkansas Children's Northwest.

As a direct report to the Chief Development Officer/Foundation President and serves as a member of the Foundation Leadership Team. In this role, she/he is an active participant developing fundraising strategy for Arkansas Children's Foundation, and specifically in the NWA region. The Executive Director is responsible for directing the NWA office of ACF. He/She works with Foundation leadership to integrate all programs focused in NWA including Principal, Planned, Major and Annual Gifts. The Executive Director will supervise assigned Foundation staff and is responsible for developing/advancing specific metrics and performance plans that hold each staff member accountable for overall fundraising goals. The Executive Director will maintain a personal portfolio of principal, planned and major gift donors and prospects in the NWA region. In leading her/his team, the Executive Director must possess excellent leadership skills and extraordinary followership skills. She/he will be expected to work with her/his peers in a manner which exhibits strength, purpose, collaboration and understanding. As a member of the Foundation Leadership Team, she/he is expected to give direction and interpret policies for the Foundation staff, as well as be able to think creatively, with the ability to accept a reasonable level of risk, and be open to routine change. She/he may also be called upon to facilitate interdisciplinary planning and problem solving. The Executive Director must have her/his own transportation and be willing to travel routinely throughout the state, including nights and weekends.
