The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, an NCAA Division I member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference and one of the leading institutions of higher education in the region, is accepting applications for the position of Head Women’s Soccer Coach. The incumbent will be charged with maintaining and enhancing the academic and athletic prowess which has propelled the program to two conference championships and two berths to the NCAA tournament in three years. The head coach will be responsible for the organization, direction and administration of the women’s soccer program and NCAA rules and regulations. Specific duties associated with this position shall include, but limited to; the recruitment of highly skilled student-athletes who are capable of excelling both on the field as well as in the classroom; managing the sport’s budget; scheduling of matches; fundraising; establishing professional relationships with key members of the local community as well as alumni; and maintaining a keen knowledge of the sport of women’s soccer through ongoing professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience as a soccer coach, preferably as a head coach and on the college level. Review of applications will commence immediately and continue until the position is filled.
