OECC is seeking a qualified individual for its Part Time Member Relations Representative position for our Fayetteville, AR location.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include: 8.0 hours Monday and Friday and 4.0 hours other days of the week but hours to not exceed 80 hours per month.
Receives and responds to customer/member request for service or service change billing inquiries and/or problems.
Receives and posts payments to members' accounts.
Performs scanning of documents
Makes adjustments to members' accounts as necessary.
Directs guests and/or calls to the proper person or department.
Processes applications for new service.
Receives and issues requests for connects, disconnects, and member changes.
Receives and processes trouble/outage calls.
Informs customers of various payment plans and/or assistance available and makes delayed payment arrangements with residential customers.
Job Knowledge, Training and Experience: Requires high school diploma or equivalent and one to five years of experience in customer service or related field.
Equipment Operated: Equipment Operated: Operates office equipment and computers.
Abilities and Skills: Must be able to give, receive and analyze information, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Requires ability to effectively present information, orally and written, and respond to questions from clients, customers and general public. Must be able to prepare paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and attention to details. Requires efficient and accurate handling of money and applying money or credit to members' accounts. Requires ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Must be able to deal with a variety of people in varying situations with tact and diplomacy.
