Education Events Lead

Description:

ABPG is growing, and we're looking for candidates who can lead the planning and execution of signature events such as the Women's Leadership Symposiums, Executive Leadership Academy and more in both Arkansas and Texas.

This person works with the ABPG events manager and is part of a three-person team that collaborates to produce high-quality education experiences.

Specifically, the position plans and oversees duties for all aspects of certain events including securing sponsorships, tickets sales, managing event budgets and, in partnership with the Events Manager, leading all aspects of events including evaluating appropriate venues, selecting vendors, and publicizing events through all print and online media channels. A full job description is available for review, but know that sales for sponsorships and tickets are a meaningful part of the expectations and it would be important to be comfortable in that environment.

There is a reason so many of our team members have been here for years — this is a great place to work (the kids' room, ice cream parties, company retreats and pet-friendly environment are just a few perks). We're looking for team members who like to work hard and have fun. Grumps should not apply.

The ideal candidate must have a competitive personality with the desire to win. Candidates must be able to meet goals, demonstrate consultative sales skills, develop multi-media proposals and make presentations to potential clients. We offer health, dental, vision, paid parental leave, flexible spending accounts and a significant 401(k) match.

No phone calls please. Arkansas Business Publishing Group is an Equal Opportunity
